Hi All,

In Portugal I understand that a salary/income can鈥檛 be received if not from a legal entity existing in Portugal. Therefore I wonder how digital nomad working for companies not incorporated in Portugal receive their monthly income ?

1- Do you use the employment of record option ? It seems this option brings more taxes for the employer.

2-聽 Or do you generally become a contractor working for what they call an umbrella company ?

3- or maybe do you create your own company registered in Portugal ?

i am looking to possibly relocate to Portugal while still working remotely for my company. However they will not want to pay any additional money compared to what they are already paying (the existing employer鈥檚 taxes are currently very low).

Would you accept to share your experience and let me know what is the set up you used ?
