Hello

I am looking for any type of job. I am an engineer by profession but I do not speak any Norwegian so it is hard to find a job. I need to keep busy hence I am not picky.

Hello,

If you are an experienced engineer then it may not be necessary to know Norwegian. I know people working in the oil and gas sector who speak only English. You could consider registering with an agent/agency or contacting a company such as StatOil, Aker Solutions, DNV etc. You can also browse jobs at , but this site is in Norwegian.

Engineers are generally in demand in Norway, so long as they can speak English. I suppose it will depend on what sort of engineer you are. If you can work in the oil and gas industry, then you shouldn't have a problem.
