Hi Folks!
I am preparing documents to apply for Norway's Job Seeker Visa. All others documents are ok except that my employer has only issued me a basic work-certificate mentioning duration and title (no details of tasks and nature). People advised me to just attach your self-written CV(Resume) along with it so that Embassy/UDI can know what I was doing. Do you people think it will work?

Hi
No I would say to u it not gonna work and u wil be rejected as well as u need house agreement from Norway did u get that if u need any help plz email me on grorud.nor@gmail.com

Hello Mama padey..

I applied for the Job seeker visa.
It is in process still 5 months.
I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering with Mechanical field
and I have 3 years of experience.
so I just want to know the things that
after getting visa
how much time i can stay in india?
because I want to learn Norwegian language before arriving there
I know FRENCH and ENGLISH very well
so suggest me.
I see on nav.no site about jobs there are some jobs which
suite me

majidhashmi

@himmat

start learning norwegian language from today itself, after you get the visa, you will get 3 months time to stay in india. you can leave for norway at any time between this 3 months time before the end date of the stamped visa.

then after you reach norway, you have to report to the immigration (they call immigration as POLICE DISTRICT there), then they will stamp you another visa for the next 6 months to stay and search for the job.

applying for jobs online is challenge over there, because almost all the websites are in the norwegian language so you have to open it in google chrome or you have to use language translator. i will give you some websites which might help you

finn.no (this is the most uselful website)
jobnorge.com
ibm.no
.adecco.com
akeradvantage.no
techconsult.no
xtra personell (write this is google , you will get it)

i have applied for job seeker visa in Norway about more than 6 months ago but till to this date no any kind information is provided to me weather my visa is granted or not. so i am totally confused either i have to wait for the decision or quiet the process from my side.

majidhashmi

@milan 2 ............call norwegian embassy at their respective timings and enquire about it, they will update you the visa status. dont be negligible about it as it should not take this much time.

UDI has stopped issuing the jobseeker visa as of last week. Their website says that if you applied before the 15th of January your application fee will be refunded. More info here:

i  applied  9  month before....cant  i  get  visa...if  i  waiting  for  that  ...is  it  good...pls  help  me....

majidhashmi

Hi nisha,

visa decision should not take more than 3 months, but if it is exceeded then it is sure that your documents has some problems.

any ways, time and again i said everyone who are leaving for norway, that if any one is leaving for norway , then dont leave before learning norwegian language
