renumkumar

Hi,

This is Renu Kumar from Pune, India. I will be coming along with my Husband in the month of November. We will be in Amsterdam for long term.

Can any one help us with living cost in Amsterdom?

Any Indian couple livining there can answer more accurately.

We will need 1BHK/Studio apartment. How much cost will come in food, trasporation and Telephone bill. I am good cook, so will prepare food at home.

I have done MBA in IT and Marketing and have 4 months of Job experience. How is job market in Amsterdom?

Thanks a lot for any Info.

Hi Renu,

I think your post is too old (means you must be already in amsterdam) but i want to share that basic living is very costly in amsterdam, specially in amstelveen near by amsterdam -

Rent in center - 1500 Euro(all inclusive) for 1 bed room
Rent outskirt - 1000 Euro (all inclusive) for 1 bed room
Food and grocery - 300 Euro
Health insurance - 200 for family
Public transport - atleast 500 euro
Phone - 50 euro but try (freecall software)

Job market is good for IT people or if you know dutch then finding job is quite easy over here.

Regards,
Archana
