Pet friendly hotels?

Kirsikkakumpu

Hi, we are arriving to Malta  by car the 2nd of August with our 3 kids and 2 dogs ( golden retriever and sheltie). It was very easy to find accommodation in all countries along the way to Malta from Finland but in Malta there doesn't seem to be any pet friendly hotels?!? We were planning on staying in a hotel for a week to be able to visit schools and choose where to settle before school starts. St Pauls Bay area and Sliema area seem to have the schools which use most English as teaching language and have most foreign students, therefore we are looking firs in those catchment areas.
Please, if someone knows where to get nice accommodation with two  dogs, don't hesitate to tell us!! Thanks, Outi

It seems that most if the places are fully booked! Are we too late? Would help to find something for a week almost anywhere or to book for a month even if we wouldn't live there the whole time.  That seems to be much cheaper. When we found the right school, we have to move near it to be able to start in that particular school anyway. Just that there are no pets allowed almost everywhere!!!Everything seems quite difficult to organize right now, I hope it gets easier once we arrive!! Can't wait!! BR, Outi

Try , you book directly with owner to rent apartment at daily rate.   I'm sure you can find one that will allow pets.  I was looking yesterday and there was quite a few places listed.

Ok, I'll check that out, thanks!!!

You can always put your dogs in Kennels as a temp measure and for a few days while you sort out accommodation.

I can recommend these kennels.

Oh yes, I didn't think of that alternative. I just think they would be scared, as they have not been apart from us that much . My husband said that we have to stay in Sicily if we cant seem to bring the dogs any further and let the kids learn Italian instead, haha.. Oh well, I guess we'll figure out something. Thank you all so much!!!! :par:
