How to cope with stress and anxiety in Italy ?

³¢´Çﳦ

Hello everyone,

The Covid19 has forced Italy to close their borders and quarantine their residents.

As the situation in Italy may be getting more and more worrying, the atmosphere can be tense and stressful. This is why we invite you to share your favorite ways to relieve pressure and to relax during those hard times.

How are you coping with stress and anxiety? What is your best tip?

Thanks, and hope you are safe and sound.

Hi ³¢´Çﳦ,

Me again! To answer your question I can tell you a list of things I do:

- My laptop is my best friend :) : if you are a freelance, part of your day will be already busy, and you will cope better with this situation.

- Online gym sections: if you have a coach, but he/she cannot (for obvious reasons) give you lessons out, you can ask him/her to do lessons by staying at home. Maybe using Skype or Zoom and connect via internet in real time.

- Reading books, those who catch your interest. I personally have bought books of different types, so when I get bored with one, I can read a different one (I have at least two different type of books, one more for professional needs, one for relaxation).

- WhatsApp calls with friends and clients who leave far away. I actually usually do not spend much time on the phone just for fun, but this is the best time for getting in touch with people who you do not have never the time to talk with.

- Private lessons. If you want to learn Italian, as I previously said, you can engage a teacher and start your "private lessons" for you or for your children.

If something else comes to my mind, I will write to you. At the moment I just hope that some of the things I have listed are good options for you.

Best!
