Skilled worker - Job Seeker

Basant90s

Hey everyone around the world ^-^

I’m here hoping to connect with people who’ve already made the move to Germany or know the best steps to take. I’ve been working in the tourism industry since 2017, and over the past few years, I’ve focused on gaining international experience and preparing myself for the next step — moving to Germany.

I’ve studied German on my own up to a B2 level, and my goal is to secure a long-term job contract in order to apply for a visa and relocate the right way. This is currently my biggest challenge, and I’d truly appreciate any guidance, referrals, or personal experiences from anyone who’s been in a similar situation.

I’m especially looking for:

Companies that hire non-EU citizens and provide relocation support

Advice on job-seeking platforms, visa options, or networking tips

Anyone open to connecting and sharing what worked for them

Thanks in advance

It's tough to find a job from abroad, especially in the tourism industry (which is necessarily very local).

Therefore, I recommend you come here on a separate visa first (e.g. language course - tourists expect C1 or even C2 in German) and start looking for a job when you are here.

Good luck

Its, nice that you have lernt the German language, at least you have crossed the greatest hurdle. what you need now is to get your qualifications assessed to the German educational framework then get the recognition. You can now use the opportunity card route. All the best...
