There's a cool pub in the 1st district, called "Berthom", close to the Metro "Hotel de ville".
There's also cool Irish pubs in the old city, the James Joyce, the smoking dog...I don't know.
But we can go wherever you want, a coffee shop is fine too.
I've heard there's a nice one at the bottom of the hill near "place des terreaux". It's called "Gorshane" but I've never been there so far.

If you have any idea or preferences, let me know !

Generally when there are meet up from expat, people go to the St James pub. You will find it easily with Google

I wont be there because I leave Lyon for the month but I hope you'll have a good time.
