I've searched through the forum and perhaps I've overlooked it, but I haven't seen much information on property tax.

We owned a small apartment in Paris for a while and the property tax was surprisingly reasonable, especially compared to what we pay here in the States.

When I see a beautifully updated house with over a thousand or more square meters of land, I have to wonder what the taxes will be? Does anyone have experience with this? Or can someone point me to the best place to find out about this?
