Hello, I'm American currently living in the State if Washington.  I worked for a number of years in Rhineland-Pfalz (intel) and love Europe.  Am weary of a certain 'element' in the US.

I'm a real estate developer and build homes with the most advanced methods of construction ([link moderated], hydronics, etc), and will be looking for land to build on if/when I move to DK.  I suspect that housing is needed there and exceptionally energy efficient housing would be desirable.

I am worried though about learning the regulations and that they may be contributing to the housing shortage.  Am also worried about finding adequate labor at economic rates.

Not looking so much at building in Copenhagen proper as that's likely built out, but perhaps on the outskirts or in some economic center in another Danish city.  In another life I bought and redeveloped distressed apartment complexes, although I very much doubt there is such a thing there.

Just thinking out loud.  Any ideas and knowledge welcomed.
