Early retirement

Irishtravelman

Hi.. I am new to this site, I have recently retired from my work, I am 52 its a choice I made years ago, i'am happy I did but I wish it was next year. However now that I am on my own, I would like to move to somewhere warm and has a reasonable cost of living... I was hoping for some advice, I am Irish and currently live in Ireland.. It would be good to have someone to get some advice off.. I have no clue about it except it is warm and it cheap.. Can anyone advise please.. I have time to plan it now...
Many Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,
living in BG, Burgas, myself for 3 years already, I am very happy about it.
Climate during summer time very good, not too hot, in winter so,so, very few days below 0 grd Celsius. Because of middle sized town, even some activity in wintertime.
Low prices, good supplies.
Busy in summertime, but not crowded like the real touristic spots around.
Good flight connections back home to Germany in summertime, and reasonable connections rest of year. BG is member of EU, which has some advantages for me regarding health insurance.
My suggestion: Come here in spring or autumn, to check the surrounding. End of year (or right now) good season for a one-year rent, to explore everything.
To give you an impression regarding prices: alo.bg
BTW: You will find some Brits/Irish in the surrounding already.

Cheers,

Reiner

Hi dear ireshtravelman
retirement in this early age is not good decision.
This age is end edge of learning but not retiring.
Its start of teaching to beginners.
if you entreperneur you doesn’t retire at end
and teach your experience to your sons and family
