Change US diver license to Belgian one (different nationality)

Hi,

I just moved to Belgium in last month.
I was working in US for 2 years and had valid US driver license, but my nationality is China. So my nationality does not math the driver license.聽 Does anyone have similar situation? Is it possible to change the US one to Belgian one? If anyone has successful experience, I would really appreciate it.

Does not matter.

I had a driving license different than my nationality.

It is possible to exchange.
Its just that generally exchanging a US driving license requires a longer duration as they contact the driving license issuing authority in the US.

Been there done that.

Hi

My husband has a US driver's license and we always believed he could not get that converted into a Belgian one? We are moving next year and it's just another check box on the list.

Hoping to learn more about this. I thought due to no reciprocity with USA, Belgium won't exchange US drivers licenses?
