What other benefits?

BTW salary doesn't just dependent up no of years experience it's also upon your skills and past experiences. I have similar 6 years of experience and working in mobile app development domain i earn almost similar amount what you mentioned.

I would say this is just normal salary not good not bad.

Hi,

To me it seems very low offer for an IT professional with 6 years of experience. Since the income taxes are quite high in Belgium what you will get at the end is around 2000 Euro as a net income. But I am not that familiar with the Belgium market maybe someone else can give a more accurate idea.

If company is offering expat contract he can get around 2500euros net and if married add 200-300 more.

It depends on your package, if you get your accommodation paid or a car or flight tickets to go home from time to time, then it's fair enough deal for a 6 years experience mate in IT.

Now it depends if your an expert in assemblor/C/C++/kernel/drivers/... (then it's clearly not enough) or if you're higher level dev in java or else... (and the salary would be correct for that kind of experience)

Now, like phipiemar always say on this forum: many Belgians never have that much money per month in Belgium...

If your offer includes other benefits like meal voucher, mobile, company car, pension package, I'd say it's reasonably good for a person with 6 years of experiences.

IMHO, IT in Belgium is still one of the highly paid jobs but don't expect what they pay in Silicon Valley.

It depends on your situation.  If you are single then okay to live a standard life but once you are in the company, there is almost no salary increase for years irrespective of how hard you work or whatever new scope you take in. You will not have any saving with a family if not both earning.
