New Single Work Permit Procedure - Belgium
Can I ask a question? When the company applied for the single permit, I paid an amount of €350. Now for the visa application, do I need to pay the administration fee of €358 for myself, or is it the fee that I previously paid? And I guess I should pay €204 each for my wife and kids, is that correct? Thank you for your responses..

Single permit fee and visa fee are to different payments, so you have to pay for visa separately now.

For further information you have to call the office of strangers, DVZ or the city hall were you or living
DVZ tel 02 793 80 00
They do not pick up the phone for 02 793 80 00 and do not reply on e-mails What a nice authority!
137 day is ongoing. We do not lose hope
Hey. They say if there is no result after 120 days it means that the single permit was granted. You need to contact your employer and work permit office to gather documents shows you application passed the time limit.
Goud luck

It was already done. The Immigration Office still has to send to me and to the Embassy the Annex 47. I cannot proceed anyhow without this annex. As i said before, we are trying to reach them (my employer tries), but they DO NOT PICK UP THE INFO DESK PHONE. Any advise how to reach them else behind the phone and e-mail communication? To send a raven maybe? We have no ways to let them know that the dead line was reached

Hi Brnb,
Just to know, as Ministry has updated their website that processing time is 9 weeks. You seem to have crossed 9 weeks in your application did u get Annex47(which is after deadline) or you got annex46 which is given before 120 days deadline. What is it in your case??

Dear All,
Has anyone lately applied Single permit in June-July period ? I am asking because, my application was submitted around end June and have not received any feedback from the employment department till now. No Admissibility letter or admission to work.

Hi,
Were you asked to show proof of sufficient means of substinence during the time your employer submitted your single permit application? And how did you handle it?
I think it is contract you get from your employer or may be a proof of health insurance.
In case you are applying from India, a letter of health insurance coverage from employer.
Did you get your single permit ?

Okay, thanks for replying. I wish you the best.
Guys note for the renewal of Residence Permit (Indian working in local contract):
My company does through AltireGlobal so the details are something like this.
**actually my WP renewal process went through single permit**
Date of submission : 17th April 2019
Date admissible : 5th May
WP approval : 5th july
Single permit authorization date: 30th July
It took 110 days for me to have the renewed permit letter, I visited commune today and they told, it would take 10 days to get the renewed ID card (a new one with new picture ) and three years of validity; i have submitted all the three letters (they also confirmed from their system by checking with my ID) and paid EUR25;
I have now annex49 which says I can work immediately and live (temporary authorization till I receive the new ID) in Belgium. BUT I can't leave the country for these 10 days; so no NL or FRÂ drive for a weekend
Your company or agency also can not speed up the process; once the file is with ministry, it is a rabbit hole they follow FIFO (first in first out) but do consider stuff like expiry date of WP, joining date of critical role etc [to be frank guys, they are structured well enough even if there isn't any government
and all done by administration, so just imagine it's complicated too]
> I would just say, please do not speculate and call IBZ (comeon, It's a ministry of Immigration and these process is very confidential so there wouldn't be any help desk unless they contact your company or agency if they need any document);
> its a new and complex process, and holiday period is a big factor here so patience is a virtue
> Normally there aren't any scope for rejection since your company fulfils the criteria of "highly skilled professional/Manager and above" by paying the right wage and right tax to government along with other key factors
Belgium loves those people who pays tax and of course on time
So to draw a conclusion, Sit Back and listen to music and continue working till the mail comes;
Good luck

What extra docs did they ask? This would enable us to be prepared to avoid such extra requests and delays.
proof of medical insurance and good behaviour certificate

Those two requirements are very essential.
Dear all,
I don't remember who it was but someone on this platform had annex 47 after waiting for 120 days. I will be 120 days next week. Still have not heard from immigration. Can you tell me how you received the single permit? Was it sent to you exactly 120 days or you had to request it?

Hi Guys,
I am looking some help on single permit process. I am stuck with one situation, My surname is missing from education documents. I have my full name (include surname) in passport, job documents and all other official documents but my surname is not mentioned in my education documents.
Shall I apply for Belgium single work permit if surname is missing from education documents? Can I submit affidavit for the same? Is it possible? Please guide or any one faced similar situation like me. Â
Thanks.
Hi,
I have submitted only one education certificate and that is my highest diploma certificate. it has only one/first letter of my surname continueing with my name and there is no problem for my SP approval. i hope this info can help you.
Thanks

Thanks Mahdu for your reply. Have you submitted any affidavit or some declaration? Have they asked some other documents to prove? Have you received your single permit?
Thanks
Hi,
No i have not provided any documents like affidavit/ declaration to prove my surname in diploma certificate and they also not asked surname clarification for diploma certificate. Yes i got SP.
Which region have you applied with ? Brussels, Flanders or Wallonie.
Thanks in advance for reply.

Flanders.
Hi, Can you please advise if there is a special criteria to be eligible for a three year WP? Does one have to be based in Belgium for the past 4 years in order to be eligible for a single permit valid for three years. I really intend to save myself from the annual rigmarole of applying for a WP.
I started working in Belgium, in Brussels in 2017 and am now working in Huizingen since Dec 2018.
Regards
Anyone who has applied Single Permit around 10-12th July, got confirmation of admissibility /work authorization from region Flander ministry?
