Prefab home

judyvillacis

I am going to build a prefab home with Casa Mi Ahnelo.  It’s been almost 6 months since I signed the contract and the process has been a crawling one. I’m ready to pull out.    One months to make minor plan changes and the rest has been a waiting game.  Waiting on engineer to approve and submit for permits.

Has anyone in this group build a prefab home? And does it really takes this long to review and submit for permits?

Share your experience on this please and tell me how long it took to build your home.

Unfortunately this is an issue with 99% of builders. Contractors, etc.

I have friends that waited years for an additional floor to be built and the windows everytime would come fucked up.  Their flooring they had done was messed up as well.

Many people are scammed, their 50% is taken and no work ever gets done.

If you have a way out of this contract and you can get you money back, do so.

Just buy an existing home.Â
