HI Ian wondering how the seaweed situation is in DR? in Punta Cana or La Romana?
I know it tends to me more in the warmer months but wondering what it is like there now?
is Punta Cana usually full of seaweed? or La Romana?
I love to swim in the sea and therefore finding a beach without seaweed is important to me

I believe it is not an issue this time of year!聽 Nothing on the news, no photos or reports of issues.

We have not had issues with seaweed this past year in the Punta Cana area.聽 Just normal amounts as in past years for the times I have been at the beach.

There was some seed weed at Minitas Beach near La Romana this fall which was red in colour but it has been washed away and the north wind has produced a crystal clear sea water that remains warmer than most pools and delightful to swim in ....
