Shipping - anything over US 200 in value in one package -  TAXED and DUTY applied.  tax is minimum 18% my friend.

Bringing them in your suitcase - many do this and it works for them.  There are some limits and it may cost you some "propinas".  I would hesitate on the TV and  bring the smaller stuff if it were me.

Tax can be stupid high on electronics if over $200 in value per shipment.

Sounds like another business scheme for you and a difficult one at  best.

Perhaps a stupid question.  Coming for 3 months with your laptop I guess is not importing!!

You will have no problem with your laptop (unless you are bringing 3 or 4 of them) or you Camera, Ipod etc.
