Hi,
I'd like to hear about people's experiences who are from countries required to have a VISA to enter Belize. How was the process? Has anyone been turned away upon entry? Has anyone been able to stay longer than a 6 month Visa? Or establish residency?

I think Belize requires a Visa for visitors from most (all?) countries.

I am from the USA, upon entry to Belize, Immigration places a 30 day Visa stamp into my passport. After 30 days I go to the local immigration office and renew it for BZD $50.
