I am a retired American of 71 yrs. young! Vietnam vet and living now in Philippines. My quest is to immigrate to Belize for it's proximity to USA and VA medical facilities. Ques. 1. Married for 14 months to Philippine princess! She can enter Belize as I can with either a visa from Belize embassy in Manila or upon arrival...correct I believe. 2. Problem is that to fly from Manila to Belize the cheapest flights are from Manila to USA and then to either Panama, Mex city etc...but my government requires a "Transit Visa" for my wife. If for some unknown reason they refuse my wife the visa then my only option is one: fly on a European carrier then all the way back to Panama and then on to Belize...Any suggestions if I cannot get her the required visa? 3. If I wish to immigrate based on income..Pension..I can show $1,566/mo. Social Security and 2 incomes from seasoned mortgages I hold for a total of $700/mo. for the next 5 and 8 years. Cumulatively enough for the required $2,000 I read from Belize forum. My only alternative is to renew visa's each month..correct or any input? Not rich but wife is trained care giver certified...I am certified teacher of English, computer guru, and many years in consulting and self employed retail and fast food...i.e. Dunkin Donut...Any input will be greatly appreciated... If it were just me...going to Belize then it's a no brain er..My wife is my life now..and I want her to enjoy the Winter of my years with me in a country like Belize. God Bless Harold

Hello Mr. Bretagne888,
聽聽聽Have had any luck on finding a ticket to Belize from Manila? My husband and I live in Belize 5 months a year聽 and became Belizean Citizens last year.
My younger sister would like to visit me this January or early February. Like you said there is the long way around without going through the U.S.
If you have or know of a travel agent that can help find a good ticket for her would be greatly appreciated.

Can one easily get a visa to trasit through Panama then on to Belize?

Belize visa secured but need to find a way to fly from Manila into Belize without going through the USA.

Any advice be greatly appreciated
