You can get it put into the name of someone at the bike shop.

Thats what I did, the Blue Card is in the name of the bike shop owner, but I took it a step further & we went to a notary & got it all legal thumb prints n all & all or done as legal as possible. Basically the notarized document gives me ownership for 20 years to sell or what ever. Cost 1 million to do it like that &  probably not worth the effort & if I did sell it I would just sell it back to the bike shop owner anyways.

I recently purchase a new motorbike in a locals name with the idea that it would be signed over to me after we get the blue card.   Ben Thanh notary told me that it could be transfered  using only a passport since it was used.
Just went back to Ben Thanh Notary where they now said TRC and WP for the transfer.....I think they misunderstood me and it was also pretty hectic.  Can anyone here help with some information.....I know there is a specific form, but I've forgotten the name.....thanks in advance.  Also does anyone know the name of the form that is used for the transfer....I've forgotten it....duh!

You dont need to transfer it into your name, just complete a form showing that you are the actual owner. I did this years ago using a form similiar to this one.

Hợp đồng mua bán xe máy, search for it on the internet.

Is this any different than getting a bill of sale? How so?
I mean a bill of sale also shows that you’re the owner, doesn’t it?
