Best Chè in Saigon?

JVo18

I have family visiting in town right now and my sister loves eating all types of che. I don't really know too much about che since I don't eat it at all, but I know she enjoys Che ba mau and basically any type.

Are there any stores (sit down) that serve only Che and nothing else?  Not really looking for a restaurant that serves a couple Che dishes on the dessert menu. And advice or input would be greatly appreciated. I'd like for her to be able to eat as many types as possible since they don't really sell it where she lives.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hi, there are two of some I know:
Chè Kỳ Đồng - 153/7 Kỳ Đồng, D3 (working for more than 20 years up to now)
Avi chè - 80/5 Nguyễn Trãi, D5 (pretty famous)

Hi Jerry,

If your sister really enjoys che ba mau then I bet she will love che Thai. There are plenty che Thai stores on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street in District 10.

Can anyone enlighten me to what is che khuc bach?

JVo18

Thanks Tom,

I took her to a well known Che Thai place. I forgot the street name but it's in District 5 right off of Nguyen Trai, but not Nguyen Tri Phuong. She seemed to enjoy it. I myself have never gotten past the consistency of Che, although I imagine it's quite delicious.

Of just in case anyone tries going, Avi Che on 80/5 Nguyen Trai is no longer there. I went there first and there is just an empty building being remodeled. The person next door said they sold the building.

america has no che, so what is che my

Hi nickuscdds1
It's just a name of che, not American che, lol. You can see it somewhere near Tran Hung Dao street (i dont remember much).
