Divorce/Annulment

GuestPoster080520

Hello all,

I just got married to a Vietnamese woman roughly 2 months ago. I wish I could say this blindsided me, but the truth is I almost didn't go through with it and I see now this definitely will not work and the sooner I get out the better. Does anyone know if you can annul such a short marriage like this? Is that very difficult? She basically avoided all the steps we were supposed to go through like interviews and such by paying bribes I don't know if that could be grounds.

If it can't be annulled is there any advantage to filing soon or is the process the same whether one is married 2 months or 20 years?

I recommend you get a good VN divorce attorney and do a lot of research yourself, but have the attorney do the actual divorce.

Certain things around here are a bit disgusting. It is possible that the bribes you paid were agreed with what was your future goal. I suppose: "If you got married in VN, you were not transcribed at your embassy, so marriage does not exist for your country: disappear as they do.2 months, or 30 years, makes no difference. Here it is hard for foreigners to get married and even harder to divorce. If you were Vietnamese: a trifle, but you are rich by postulate and therefore you are to be plucked. If your wife consents to the divorce, without children and without division of assets, a trifle of 300,000 Dong (consensual divorce), if your ex makes a mess, then the unilateral divorce becomes Everest.... the family knows where it is, but it has not been a liar for years and the Court unfortunately, out of a nationalistic spirit, will believe the family...... common evil, half joy, with one big difference: they killed me mentally and financially... and the Police do not lift a finger: a fact a complaint in September, big theft, documented by video camera, I have not yet seen anyone

Hello dearest reading your message I seem to have read the Bible, Gospel and Koran put together: your answer is perfect, super exact.  In my case, despite a super valid notarial deed, there is also a swarm of people who sleep and live freely, poisoning my existence, with thefts and continuous spitefulness and making my life dangerous. The police? I filed a complaint in September, an important theft, there is also the let's call it family that, on video camera, covers it with a white bag, POLICE NEVER SEEN😡
