Hi Everyone,

I am going to take my CELTA course some time next year and was wondering would I be able to get a Teaching job in UAE or anywhere abroad with a FDA (Foundation Degree) in Business Management. I have read about getting a CELTA qualification but I was wondering with a FDA degree would I be able to teach English Language abroad and if so what does the salary range from?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. An associates degree or UK Fda is not deemed to be high enough for a VN working visa or one in the UAE. A BA is the minimum. I also had an Fda and went through the same process it's a ridiculous box ticking process. I went back to uni and boshed out 8 months on a top up cours to get my degree. If you want a long term teaching career overseas I would suggest it. Good luck

Many University/school/Language center in United Arab Emirates ask for a Degree/PG in English major / M A TESOL plus CELTA/TESOL聽
UAE and Vietnam... too far in everything聽
