Unfortunately about聽 70% of court matters here involve property disputes.聽

As previously advised here, contact your embassy and maybe they have a list of legal practitioners they can recommend.聽 聽I know the Australian Embassy & Conulate does.聽

I鈥檝e known expats here that have gone to court 鈥� holding all the aces鈥� and still lost out to a local.聽 聽 The court basically told him 鈥� he should have known better 鈥� than to do business here 馃槅

If you want a sobering story about property disputes in this region ,,google the following.
Phuket Property nightmare.聽 聽 聽It鈥檚 a BBC story with YouTube coverage involving a Brit by the name of Ian Rance.聽 Google him too.

Apart from losing millions $$$聽 , the BBC journalist covering the story, AND Mr Rance are now being charged with defamation for releasing the story and face up to 7 years in Prison.聽 聽

I know two other guys personally in Phuket that have been through the same thing.聽 聽In this region, the blue eyed guys are not meant to win.

Unless your a Multi National company ,,your cannon fodder here when the poo hits the fan.
