What motorbike do you want to buy? There is a motorbike trader HN. He sold used bikes for tourists to travel Laos and cambodia.. Around 200-300$/bike. Is that what you want?

Try CraigslistVN, many for sale in there, private and dealers.

Thanks - silly of me not to check that website. Although it seems that 95% of the ads are by dealers masquerading as private sellers.    Some even use generic photos - the Honda Wave looks fantastic - but it's not showing the one which is for sale... Mr X alone has dozens of ads. And Craigslist stinks when they let dealers post ads like "20 x Honda Win" 

Backpackers who bought from dodgy dealers in HCMC aren't a source either.

Y dont u check out the tnh website classifies section. There's always some1 leaving vn and putting up their bikes for sale

Go to Chua Ha street. They have lot of sellers there.
