JUST REMEMBER 2015 JANUARY 01 is a legal holiday in VN. Services/facilities will likely be reduced.

It is a 4 days holiday this New Year . Schools, gov offices will be closed but hotels, restaurants, street food, buese are opened, etc. Only Lunar new year in Feb2015 there will be problems for tourists.

Enjoy your time in Hanoi. :)

Many tourist facilities are government run and they, too, will be closed, such as museums, art galleries, etc. Bac Ho's museum in HCM is closed, for example, and the HCM museum.

Similar to Ha Noi closures.

Oops. .. probably it's the wrong time to visit hanoi then. Four days holiday in a row.
