My boyfriend and I are moving to Da Nang at the end of November, and we鈥檙e looking for a bit of advice to get started.

Any tips on nice neighborhoods to live in (close to the beach, cafes, restaurants鈥�)?

Also, where do people usually go to meet other expats or locals? Any events or groups you鈥檇 recommend?

Congratulations on your upcoming move! Only ~4 months left before your big departure date! Have either of you been to Vietnam before? It truly is a place like no other.

Would you give us just a little more information regarding your relocating here (i.e. long/short stay, immigration visa status, rental budget, employment situation/location, etc)? Knowing this would give our members who live in Danang a little more to work with.

I've only visited Danang, having never lived there, so I'm sorry I can't personally give you any specific recommendations.
