For anyone leaving Vi峄噒 Nam and headed to the USA with a canine animal, this update from the US Embassy in H脿 N峄檌 might be of interest:

"Starting on August 1, 2024, 12:01 AM ET, dogs entering or returning to the United States, including at land ports of entry, must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the six months before entering the United States and where they received their rabies vaccines (if required).聽 All dogs must be at least six months of age, have an ISO-compatible microchip, appear healthy on arrival, have a CDC Dog Import Form receipt, and meet other requirements as detailed on the CDC's website.聽 Dogs that do not meet all entry requirements or do not have accurate or valid forms will be denied entry to the United States and returned to the country of departure at the importer's expense.聽 Use the CDC鈥檚 DogBot tool to determine which requirements apply.鈥�
