Hi i will be in Phuket around 30 december 2013. Would like to make a few contacts before arriving. I know its early days but i allways like to prepare in advance. Im a biologist. I enjoy scuba diving and any water sports.Want to visit Pattaya and Bangkok as well. Any advice on accomodation would be great as well.

What's your hotel budget?

You are aware that arrival date is right in the middle of peak season so hotel rates are higher in most tourist destinations in Thailand.

Thanks for the advice. Yes im aware, but unfortunately its the only time i can get off. Fortunately the rand to Thai currency is favourable.
