Hello Singapore people!

andrejcz

Hi everyone,

with a similar subject I made my first post here on expat-blog few months ago before moving to Barcelona. Surprisingly it resulted in finding my best friend (female) in BCN, so I'm thinking why not do it again in Singapore? Although I do meet random ppl when going out, it's usually "drunk meets drunk" which never develops into a normal friendship.

So here I am - my name is Andrej, born in Slovakia, although I like to say I'm from Czech republic as I spent my "adult" years there. I'm 27 looking at my passport, but look much younger according to most.

It's been 2 months in Singapore already and I would like to find some "compatible" friends outside my work. I think I'm friendly in general, bit crazy & funny - depending on the ppl around, open-minded and positive (I don't like sad, frustrated people who have always problems).

I like good music, which is hard to find here in SG. Hip hop, house, rock, jazz, funk, latino... just not much into the mainstream dance whatever that's played in every club. I used to dance hip-hop, house dance for 3-4 years and dancing is my passion that I hope to continue developing here. I like salsa as well, would be nice to find a good partner interested in this dance.

Otherwise I do some sports, read a little, play a game occasionally, enjoy a good food and drink... and perhaps some more drinks, I like to party over weekend and just do the drunk conversations... it's fun!

OK, this should be enough for starters. If anyone is interested in hanging out or chatting first, drop me a PM or something...

thanks and cheers,
Andrej

Have a nice day.

Told you the last time you posted that you should just join the Pub Crawl. Tons of people there, you can make tons of "compatible" friends that you're looking for.

The funny thing is I was actually there with my friend 2 or 3 weeks ago, waiting near the pigeon statue for almost 1 hour and nobody from Pub crawl showed up (and the weather was fine).

And I'm sure there was one more guy waiting for this, as he was circling around the statue for the whole registration time.

After this experience I've lost confidence in the event, although I did see the pub crawl team in action recently on my way to CQ.

It happens Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Registration is from 7:30 - 8 PM, it's impossible no one was there, they've been updating photographs of every single crawl since!

Also, they have their numbers you can call on their Facebook page, you should have just called and asked what was up.
