dont know of any safety issues there other than the usual which you should be aware wherever you visit,you dont mention how many person or how long might stay ,there are lots of hotels around that budget聽 -just have to google accomodations there聽 here is one聽 dbshometel.com/index.html聽聽just e-mail them for rates

THX,WE WILL BE STAYING 4-5 DAYS FINDING SOMETHNG COMFORTABLE - NOT RITZY,JUST RELITIVELY SAFE.I WONT DEAL WITH REALTORS.DO YOU KNOW ANY POSTING AREAS/CAFES ? OR BEST JUST USING TRICYCE DRIVER AS I'VE DONE IN THE PAST- ANY REFERRAL TO SAFE(HAHA) TRUSTED DRIVER ? THOM
