can get the plat number in 24 hours

Does that come with free milk from the cow?

New car 1 to 2 weeks, been there and never touched the cow nor the milk nor the bribes nor dreams of what really happens here. Free milk? Mostly imported like some opinions.

OMO.

Cheers, Steve.

HONDA CITY A/T model 2011 is better,,,,easy to sale many parts.
people who buy 2th hand car need to look for this thinks :
1. or/cr is writing on the owner, the same one who sale you the car(check is id)
do not buy car with open deed of sale !
do not accept SPA (all fake)
go to layer to make the deed of sale
2. check casis number and engien number if same like the or/cr   ( go to high way patrol they will check the car for small money)
3. Do not touch cars that come from CDO with plate number start with letter B
Most of then did not pay tax when the enter the philippine,,

I haven't had much luck buying a used car in the Philippines but I really like the new car dealerships. The price is advertised and everyone pays the same price or a little less if there's any promos at the time.

If you are OK with a Toyota Wigo you can buy a manual trans model for about P575K but my wife needed the automatic trans so we bought the middle grade auto model and at the time it was P620K if I remember correctly. It is hard to buy a decent used car for those prices and I really like the Wigo.

It comes with some perks. We had some good promos with the Fortuner but our sales lady Kim was only able to find us a P5K promo on the Wigo. They are hot selling cars so not a lot of promos at this time but we did get 1 year full coverage insurance, 3 year LTO registration, 5 free services spread out over 1 1/2 years, a free Toyota brand dash cam, 2 free umbrellas, free floor mats and seat covers, the new car smell and factory warranty. Add all that up and it makes since to buy a new one. We don't drive it a lot so it will be in the family for decades.

When we go to Naval in the Fortuner we park at CitiHardware and take tricycles into Naval proper because the Fortuner isn't that easy to park in tight parking spaces. When we take the Wigo we drive it anywhere and parking is a breeze. I converted the advertised kilometers per liter to miles per gallon. The manual trans model converts to over 50 mpg, the auto model gets a little less than 50 mpg. Our payment cleared on a Friday and the Wigo was delivered to our house the following Tuesday.

It's nice how they deliver the car, 10 days later they delivered and installed the number plates, that company is 2 plus hours dive away.

Unless you live in Manila you should always buy Toyota because they are the only dealerships that stock all the spares Mindanao and other far flung areas.

@bigpearl It is a 3 hour drive one way for us. They mailed us the plates and I installed them on both vehicles. When the Fortuner was delivered in July 2021 I noticed the backup camera wasn't working. I called the sales lady to make sure it was part of the package and she said it was and I should bring it in. I told her it was a 6 hour drive round trip and it is something that should have been checked before delivery. They agreed and ended up sending a couple technicians to our house. The technician found a wire that wasn't plugged in all the way and had it fixed in minutes.

There's some truth to that but I don't enjoy driving Toyotas (the cars) so I bought a Mazda. Much more sporty, and we do have some great roads in the southern Visayas. I do like Toyota trucks though. Mazda has a good dealership in Cebu though, so we have it serviced when we are there anyway. It hasn't needed much of anything out of the ordinary.

But yes, for remote areas I agree with you - Toyota has the best parts availability. By far.
