No conversion clause on tourist visa

Hi,
I am an Indian traveling to Philippines on a tourist ( 9A Visa ) single entry , 30 days. However the Visa states that it is not valid for study, employment or practice of profession. No conversion.

Is it possible to extend this Visa and then convert it to any other category of Visa ( 9 G ie work visa )

Hi Psanchi,

Yes you can extend your tourist visa automatically for 2 months for first extension or maximum of 6 months. And that can be convertible into a working visa here in the Philippines.

Soon the conversion will be forbidden... and the candidate for work in the PH will have to ask for a working permit in the PH embassy of its own country...

Yes,

But there is no memorandum implemented from the government yet.聽 And we are also awaiting for it so that we can advise all our clients before travelling here in the country.
