Deportation Philippines

comprive

I am almost living 20 years in the Philippines and I had a case in the Netherlands based on a charge 23 years ago. Here I have no bad records.

The bureau of Immigration Philippines made a charge sheet and deportation order. (WLO)

The case in the Netherlands was closed September 4, 2023.

Ther Philippine authorities were informed by the Deportment of Foreign Affairs Netherlands.

I send a request to the COMMISSIONER OF THE BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION to lift my name from the LO on February 5, 2025.

Still now October 12, 2025, without any result and information or update.

For me is sure they cannot do deportation on a closed case from another country because the watchlist and WLO is a result of this (a formally closed) case.

The Philippine government has no legal basis to deport me just because of that past case.

I didnot receive any other chargesheet to hold me on the WLO.

What can I do after 8-9 months no final action or decision?

I am no expert on this but I think that if you did not declare this open criminal case against you in the Netherlands when you moved to the Philippines they may have the right to deport you. It seems from what you have stated that they only found out through the Department of Foreign Affairs (Netherlands) when they closed the case and you did not declare this earlier. I guess it could also depend on the nature of the offence.
