My wife an I are planning to visit karachi, I wanted to know what the beaches are like? Is it safe/appropriate for my wife and I to go swimming at the beach?
Hi There are a lot of beaches here in Karachi Pakistan namely Clifton beach,Hox bay, Paradise point,Turtle beach,Gidani etc. and most of them are safe for expatriates specially clifton Hoxbay and turtle are v.good and safe So have a safe and nice stay at Pakistan if you need any more info mail me at waheedintl@hotmail.com
The beaches in Pakistan are not like in other countries. You can swim but i don't think you'll enjoy it as it is not very clean and not a single Pakistan know how to swim. I am in Karachi now and will leave for Islamabad tomorrow in the morning.Â
Here are some pictures i took in Karachi, mohenjo daro and Harappa durring this trip
i am guessing you are refering to the dumpster called SEA VIEW.....
this is from Charna Island just a few hours from the city....
and i assure you there are many Pakistanis who know swimming very well...last saturday morning we went swimming and i met a guy who was training his two kids to swim not more than 5 6 years old.
Hope you enjoyed your trip other than the swimming and beach issues...!
cheers Fahim
