I was planning on living in nepal for 2 years.iam indian I have a 5 year old cat I will be bringing from the uk.Was just wondering what is the condition of pets in nepal what vaccinations do they need and procedure for importation,

check the web site of the nepal embassy, or just type: cat import to nepal, you should find the regulations. If your cat is used to stay in the house it will be fine, but if it is used to be outside, it might get difficult as there are stray dogs everywhere. Also check out a hotel which allows animals, before you rent a flat. Please think about what to do with the cat if you are out for holiday or for a weekend trip only. It might be difficult to find someone to take care for it.
