hi  i am a inner mongolian , i have stayed in mongolia for 4 years,  we can make friends.

Once you get to Mongolia, there should be a decent amount of expats living there. Most of the Mongolian teens can speak English, better than me and I had lived in the USA for almost 5-6 years. 

I am sure if you are willing to adapt to the lifestyle in Mongolia, you will make very good friends in no time at all.

Btw Mongolian lifestyle includes drinking and partying so cheer up.
