Dear Ernest,
i am a christian guy in Pakistan very happy to see your profile as christian in Malaysia,
dear i am MBA in finance and have experience of :)Metro Cash & carry experience of checkout supervisor(cash) and want to move Malaysia. i want some information from u urgently,
i have applied through agent a work permit,he gave me following information:
work permit duration 3 years
salary package 850 to 1000 rengerd
factory work as packing worker
visa cost 200,000 pak rupees in Malaysian currency 7,692
please guide me can i change my company after reaching in Malaysia ,what is job market situation in Malaysia.
what you suggest for me.
regards
maqbool
Hi Magbool,
salary within 850-1000 is consider quite low, unless you are prepared for it or you already have back up to start off here then it should be fine.
Yes, you'll be able to change job as long as you have the working permit with you. I can say there's plenty of job opportunities in Malaysia.
Regards,
Ernest
FYI, employment pass are only delivered to expats earning a monthly income of not less than MYR 5,000.
Also, if you plan on changing job once in Malaysia, you will need the approval from your work permit sponsor. This means the immigration will ask for a reference letter from your previous employer stipulating that they allow you to seek a new opportunity here. If you don't have this letter, then you have to go through a six month waiting period before applying for a new work visa.
Dear Maqbool,
I advise you. please do not follow agents this is very cheap job and I know these agents who just play with person's feelings and enjoy there money. The visa he is offering you it cost 3000rm to 4000rm. so please back off visit here and look for job.. u r MBA there are so many retail chains like Jusco, tesco, carrefour ETC... for more information please email me ..
I am from Pakistan and ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ here.

Guys come on..............
Shall we make it this Friday/Saturday or next Friday/Saturday?
Please reply.
Regards,
I am ok with that Kim..
A dozen people is a lot already to get a gathering going. anymore and you might have trouble finding tables or a place to fit everyone, especially on a weekend.Â
So where is it going to be? I should be free this saturday night.
if it's far and in the evening I can't go I don't have a car. I have to come back home. But I think u should do it now, if the majory agree make it happen.
hi everybody
i am Indonesian living in Malaysia ,may i know when and where the exactly place will be held for meeting?
if possible i can join also.
thanks
lenny
Guys... we better plan it next week on friday or saturday. Please hurry up and confirm your participation.
Set the details of when and where first. Otherwise nothing will get started.
Like Saturday Night 7.00pm at Ming Tien, Taman Megah. Might not be convinient for everyone but you'll never know until one is made. Maybe a mall would also be easier. Maybe everyone is in downtown KL so like the Pavillion Mall food court would be a great place for the gathering. I reccomend food courts because everyone has different taste buds or have diet issues and can have a choice.Â
If we find that everyone likes to spend a bit more on food then dinners at hotels can be planned later.
i am ok on this friday nite....pavillion it's oK.
have anyone thought of Tenji or Jogoya japanese buffet restaurant? It is quite expensive but it is a very luxury buffet restaurant (only if everyone have enough budget )
and i would suggest shopping mall would be better or bar as it is more comfortable.
