Money changer at airport

Hsni

After I land at KL airport, can I change my currency there or I should  get it changed from my place before travelling. Secondly, how much will a taxi chrge from airport to KLCC, a location within one kilometre radius of the Petronas towers. We will be five, including three kids. Or there any other mode of transportation from airport to city centre other than taxis. Do good hotels arrange to pick you up from airport if you are their customer.

Regarding the hotel taxi arrangement..

I advise you to call the hotel management if they can pick you up..

If yes great.. If not,

Which airport? The budget or the main AirPort?

If you can take KLIA from AirPort to kl sentral station  then take LRT to KLCC
Or you can take taxi from KL sentral station to klcc

If you cant take KLIA you should get a taxi..
It will just cost you a bit

Regarding the money..

What we did is..

We withdrew money out of an atm machine..At the airport...

I hope i somehow helped

How old are your children ?
If you don't have so many stuff (can fit in one taxi) and your children are young, taking taxi is actually cheaper and more convenient for you than bus or train. Just go to the taxi counter (the budget taxi) and tell them your destination.

For money changer, it is advisable to avoid changing money at Airport. Like mayumi said, just withdraw some from ATM machine

Thanks for the info. It is supposed to be main airport I believe. You have used different briefs KLIA, KLCC and KL sent real station, explain a bit about them. So taxi seems ok and better carry some RM from my place.

I think it should be ok. Hope you enjoy your stay

i think it would be cheaper to take a taxi unless the hotel is arranging pickup

Well, you have kids, therefore it's best if you'll bring with you rm

And taxi is more convenient with 3 kids

That's a good idea of yours

No more fuss
