Is USD 4600 per month a good salary?

Hi
I have an offer of $4600 per month which included accomodation($800), car+driver+gas. This is a NET salary. My office is close to BLOK M. I intend to stay close to the office. Can you please help me understand if I would be able to sat comfortably and how much i would be able to save up(considering I dont drink)

That works out at Rp42.5 million per month.
The house is way too expensive but you aren't actually paying so don't worry.

Living near work is a good move as Jakarta traffic is terrible at best.

How well will you live?
Local minimum wage is about Rp1.5 million/month.

How does 28 times minimum wage sound to you? That's what you're on.

how much a house would cost within 2-3km radius of blok m market. upper limit of accommodation for me is $800. you think $1000 is enough to get through a month(excluding house, car,driver, fuel)?

You're bang in the middle of a really busy, expensive area.
Not a place I'd choose to live unless I had to.

Google "rumah disewa "
Look for estates with security. Most have.

That and google maps should look after your problem.

Here's an example. Big and expensive, but nice.
