The first question has to be - Do you need to pay someone for something you should be able to do yourself?

Surely Ozzy rules are simple to check and easy to sort out with helplines in the same way British ones are.

Pension companies and state pension agencies normally won't talk to anyone but the pensioner.

@Fred   Australia has no Social security agreement with Indonesia which means any Australian Íæż½ã½ã currently living in Indonesia has to return to Australia to submit there pension claim , convince them you have not returned just to claim the pension but have returned to live permanently in Australia etc etc .Then if your claim is approved you have to remain in Australia for 2 years before the pension becomes fully portable and you can move back to Indonesia with the risk of loosing it . This company claim to be able to submit your application on your behalf , advise you through the process so that you don't have to return to Australia at all . I'm just trying to find out if they are legit and if any one has dealt with them . From what I've heard it is a very daunting complicated process if the Australian CES  suspect your there only to get the pension .

As I understand it the Australian pension is means tested and not a universal benefit. The US, Canada, & UK pensions are not and also index linked at least in the Philippines. So the Australian system effectively discourages its citizens who are on low incomes from putting away too much of a private nest egg otherwise they get penalised. So much for creating an incentive for Joe Australian Public to become self sufficient on retirement 🤔
