Delhi expat salary query

natasha22

I am a  British female expat currently living in the Middle East but moving permanently to Delhi at the end of September. Could anyone please offer me an insight into  what an average salary for an expat such as myself working in one of the below positions would be;

NB. I have a Degree in Business Administration & Event Management from a top Australian University,  IÂ’m 23, with 5 years experience and my current position is Project Manager of an Events & Exhibitions company...

1) Event/ Pr person
2) As a personal assistant/ executive assistant
3) I've heard about a job training people for British accents 'accent trainer', not sure if this actually exists in Delhi or not... if so does it pay well?

I would really appreciate any feedback, as I would really like to know what to expect.

Many Thanks!
Natasha

Hi

It all depends hows ur lifestyle is?
Its preferable to stay near your work area. As traffic is bit a problem in Delhi. You can get a rented house at 15K. But again it depends upon ur needs.
Food: Not an issue in Delhi. Wide variety is available. Need to take care of Hygienic one. 1 time meal outside in an average restaurant is 300-700 INR
Transport: If company is providing a cab - Its the best.
Public transport is there but crowded. Metro again is gud but doesn't covers a lot. Taxi will b costy if commuting daily.
So communiting cost depends tatally on how u travel n by means of transport u use

So i believe 50-60K wud b a decent salary.
