Hi Julien
Thank you for your warm welcome.
I am of Indian origin and have lived in the UK for the last 12 years. Relocating to Bengaluru this year and was looking to connect聽 with people who have had similar journey and share / learn from their experiences.
I am finding it hard to understand the International schools in Bengaluru (Whitefield / Sarjapur area) and was hoping to get some interaction / recent experience others on this group may have had.
Hope to be a regular contributor as we go along.
Cheers!
Ramesh

@Julien
Great day everyone,
I'll be a newbie in India (I hope it)
My company has a new project in Bangalore, India, and I'll handle that project, so I have a chance to move to Bangalore to work and live.
Now, I'm so excited to chat to explore new things, culture, and expat life with everyone.
@travelopodseo
Hi,
Nice to connect with you.
Where do you live? Is it friendly and easy for foreigners living there?
Hi, I'm planning on staying in affordable countries while my home is frozen over in the winter. I'm poor in my country and am on the dole. I'm homeless in the US but excited to be able to afford a house in India. I'm a artist by trade and am hoping to make a little side money in that way. Any suggestions on housing and art sales

HI!
This is my 2nd attempt to create account.
I have no clue why 1st time message appeared that my account is blocked for few days and today i discovered that my account I created doesn' t exist anymore.
I swear - i didn't spam here, i did absolutely nothing wrong. So I am quite skeptical now about this - my 2nd attempt.
I am from Latvia and live in Bengaluru.
@snorke
Hello and welcome !
Sorry I couldn't find your first account or any other data so that I can investigate. This account is active though. If you have any questions regarding expatriation, feel free to ask.

Good morning, Namaste.
For almost 3 years now, I鈥榲e been living in Iindia, Bangalore. Almost everything is different than it is in Europe and it took me a long time to figure out the basics.
For example: People think you are crazy, if you tell them how hard it is to spend money here. 馃槈
International credit cards (except US, Canada and UK) do not work in half of India and there are so many other things you need to know, to have a smooth living here.
Anyone who needs help is always welcome to ask me.
I am happy to support.
Why am I here? We started a branch for my IT company in India and so far I had an amazing time. Bangalore is an extraordinary place and we discovered so many hidden treasures - many more to find.
Looking forward to meet amazing people here. 馃檹
Best regards,
Daniel
@faazlarizvi7518 Hi Julien - seems we both had a similar experience in India. Hope to meet you soon. 馃檹
@chloe.ng Hi Chloe, let鈥檚 connect. I live in Bangalore, Whitefield. There are many great things to explore in Bangalore.
Best regards,
Daniel
@chloe.ng Hi Chloe, yes. It is very friendly for foreigners to live here. Most Indians have a basic rule in their life: Treat your guest like a god. And we are guests in India. Everybody tries to help - it鈥檚 amazing.
Honestly: I feel more safe here than in Germany鈥 馃槈
Me and my fiancee are happy to show you around.
Best regards,
Daniel
@michaelagruel Hi, you came to the right place. 馃槈 And I hear you - for me it was a big goal too: No more freezing in the winter. 馃槄
I met some amazing people in the Bangalore art scene and I am happy to connect you with them. An artist life is always difficult - but what would this world be without art?
Hope we can connect.
Best regards,
Daniel
@snorke Hi Snorke, well it worked finally. 馃槈
i live in Bangalore too - in Whitefield to be precise.
Let鈥檚 connect and as a German: Let me present the first Welcome Beer to you. 馃槈 Bangalore has a long history of breweries.
Best regards,
Daniel
@Daniel the blond
Hi!
I live in Sadashivanagar and trip to Whitefield for me is like proper travel. For me is easier to ride to Andra Pradesh on Hyderabad highway then to Whitefield.
If you like art, come and visit our art gallery. You can find on google聽 鈥 Peepletree art gallery
Hi,
Just joined this forum.
I'm from Mauritius and I have lived in Bangalore India for 6.5 years while I was studying Engineering over there 15 years ago.
Now as a business owner, I would like to explore possibilities of having a second home in the northern parts of India as I'm already very familiar with the South both for residential and business purposes.
I can also help quite a little bit with Mauritius so leave your messages on a forum so everyone can use the resource. No unsolicited pm or connection request please.
Thanks & kind regards.
@Julien I'm likely not in the right forum, but on the eve of my visit to Goa from B.C Canada, I wanted connection. Forgive me!
My roots lie in Goa. Born in Mapusa in 1946 - no idea which josput
