uhm.. i live near the russian market in the Btk area N its a place of villas , clean N neat , arnd here the prices vary from 200 a room with minimal furniture ( but there are lots of shops with hand made furniture N u can find a good quality stuff in maximum 100 $) to 350 -400- 500- 600 a two room apartment with all things included , like in my villa here an apartment costs 350 N it has fridge, furniture , equipped kitchen ,AC N i dunno what else .. its safe , cozy , and peaceful neighborhood with everything close by , then there is the BBK are , very cool N a bit expensive. but offers are plenty N u can find a good place any time .. jst come here , book in at a hotel for a week or so N check out the places , this town isnt that large .it has i guess 8-10 km or so from north to south ..
N abt expenses . i guess it all depends on your living style .. the grocery shopping u can have it done either at Mart which has basicly pretty much everything western or the local markets which are a bit messy but cheaper and there are places where you can eat yummy food , with abt 2 dollars for 2 people , like the russian market where other ppl eat to .. so you wont be the only foreigners there no worries .. ..
i personally like it here cz its easy to get around N it feels like everything is accustomed for foreigners .. u can get a driving license easily .. legal or illegal either wayÂ
, khmer classes if u like with 6 $ per hours , i just found a school for that few days back .. jobs are available ALL THE TIMEÂ especially for native english speakers ..
