Hello everybody!!! I am a romanian girl who lives in Italy at the moment. My partner (he is italian) and I would like to move over to Zambia and start a business in the tourism ( a lodge, a resort) but at the moment we are lacking some very important information regarding the cost of living there - e.g. how much it costs to rent an apartment there in Zambia , what's the price of the basic goods, how's is life as far as the foreigners are concerned......and so on ...lots of things that I am sure are very different from western european lifestyle or american , british and we would absolutely need to know before moving there!!! If anyone could give us this type of info I would appreciate it very much (also because it is different when someone who experienced already this passage (moving there from the US or Europe) gives you this info.Thank you very much in advance. Any info in this direction is precious to us!! Regarding our dream we have created an website that gives a clearer idea of what we are trying to do. Please check it out! Thank you very much again! Hi Elena, Zambia is a peaceful place, for the 2 years I have been here, I have heard and seen a lot of expats moving into the country and some engaging in long term commitment like farming, tourism, setting up shops etc. and some are not returning home after their employment ceased. Come and see it for yourself. The only info. on tourism I can offer is for you to check on the web sites. They are pretty good.
