Brief visit to Khartoum

Hello.

I am visiting Khartoum for a few days in February.

Having never been to Sudan I am very interested in seeing something of the city and it's culture.

Can anyone suggest where to go, who to see?聽 I would love to find a way to get a flavour of the real life of Khartoum.

I,m looking for my friend from former Yugoslavia, her name is Alexandra Markovic from small village near by Osijek call Josipovac at that time (1986 - 1987)she was been faculty of food processing聽 unversity of Osigek .
I miss her too much and hope from any one to help me to find out her as far I know she is now in New Zeland

I am a British airline pilot living in the Middle East.聽 I will be stopping in Khartoum with another pilot from 24 Feb to 26 Feb.

It would be wonderful if we could meet up to take a look around this extraordinary city!
