No less than 1000 $ Per month .

Stuff and nonsense. $1000 or more? And no doubt this would be the price using your services?

I have friends in Casablanca renting nice flats in the centre of town (Belvedere), old French building (one couple) and a modern(ish) block (single guy) for respectively 6000 dirhams and 4500 dirhams.

For someone from the UK, this is the definition of a studio flat:--

If this is what you rented, it seems a bit expensive.at 360DH a night.

I know that long term rentals are cheaper than short term, but 5000 dirhams is a tad dear for what sounds like a one room place. Please tell me it had a separate bedroom! Even if you rent by the night, you can find nicer places for 300 to 400 dirhams. A continuous 14 days and the price often falls to 250 to 275 a night. I found a nice place for friends a couple of years ago for 250 a night for 6 nights, separate bedroom, salon, lavatory, shower and balcony - and it was in the centre.

This site is simply for holiday lets:--

People recognise a bargain! Someone must be working this late on a Sunday as an offer of a 300DH one bedroom flat dropped off the site while I was looking at it, flicking through pages.

There are physical agencies that charge much less, but it;'s a bit of a hard slog! That's how I did it though. :-)
