Hi everybody,

This topic has been opened to allow you to announce any cultural event, such as concerts, shows, exhibitions etc taking place in Mauritius.

However I'd ask to only post the events here; if you want to comment on an event you attended, it would be nice to start a new discussion giving it the title of the event you are commenting.

Hello dear expats,

Who would like to join us for a day by Catamaran to go to the Nothern Island. We will pass not far from ilot Gabriel, and stop at ile plate (flat island), the less busy one and do some snorkeling. We can be up to 20 people and it is free for children under 5 years old. Departure at 8 or 9 (we can choose) and back at 5pm on the Perebeyre beach. The whole day including (BBQ of chicken and fish, salad etc. and drinks) is at 1000Rs.

Who's in? Let me know on Friday lunch (last minute) or earlier (would be easier for planning).

Bring your swimming suit, volley-ball, ravanne and djemb茅!

Please note that depending on the sea/ weather condition we may have to cancel.
