where was the application made? the name of the police station?

I live in the UK. I am applying for my husband who is British to have residency in Mauritius. In the UK we called it a CRB. We have to get this from the local police in the UK.

We were given a form the Immigration Office requesting a list of documents that we have to provide to proceed with the application. Does that answer your question? Is it for you or for your relative?

Do you know what does it mean a red cross on the paper.

In Mauritius it is called the Certificate of Character, formally known as the Certificate of Morality.
go on dip.gov.mu then services. you will see the steps. if you need any help please pm me. i'll do needful for you to get it as soon as possible if you have a clean record

keepitburnin are you into the Police force?聽 I mean are you handling an official post in government to facilitate issue of Certificate of Character. I would like to know cause I might need such a service.

Ask your GP, dentist, a lawyer you might know, or chemist or someone from a religious congregation or even better, someone from the Police Force. Hope it helps.
