Question regarding medical exam

Hello,

I'm interested in an occupational permit and have a few questions regarding the Xray and Med exam.

I had a bad case of Covid 2 years ago which caused a small scar on my lung.

This shows up on my Xray as a small dot.

I have fully recovered since then and am totally fine but the scar on my lung remains.

It is however very small and has no impact on my lung function.

Will this have any effect on my occupational permit application?

The guidelines say that no permit will be issued to anyone with an infectious disease so I'm assuming it should be fine since it is just a scar but wanted to double check.

Any insight will be helpful.

Hi Ivan,

I am thinking it should not have an effect since it's not a communicable disease.

Because many people have minor lung damage from things like smoking and childhood pneumonia that can also show on Xrays.

I think they will be aware of all these issues.

I am just guessing logically though so take my opinion lightly.
